Vocational / Professional Orientation,

Taking into account several reflections, the following complex definition was carried out by "OrientAction" journal team based on seven Latin American counseling Surveys: Vocational / Professional Orientation, is a process of pedagogical counseling to the existential phenomenon: "Search for of schooling "in function of the social construction of academic life projects in relation to working life, which is framed in the ethical-existential conflict [Duty BE (Having + Doing + Living / Living)-Desire  Being, expressed as "dreams" (studied in depth by the theories of desire) achievable conflict through the construction of the Social SER Power (Having + Doing + Being / Living)] which implies a particular moral position between the sub-conventional minimum valuation and the post -Maximum Conventional thath  requires psycho-pedagogical processes such as the development of full self-determined perceptual awareness (attitudinal awareness / emotional awareness), and emancipatory resilience, built as a capacity for moral recovery and / or bio-psychosocial adaptation to highly adverse and stressful situations, through the ethical and psychosocial construction of transcendental ethical, ecological and solidary social purposes, objectified in critical and emancipatory life projects. This transitional task is constituted through the conceptualization, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical actions oriented towards the identification of aptitudes and efforts required to perform in general and/ or specific areas of knowledge, harmonized with the search of an optimal development of the potentialities of the human being in all its existential dimensions: Being ( To Have +To Do + To Be); development that is evident in academic-labor projects (Structured in transitional life trajectories) with ethically self-determined or authentic criteria (Hansen, 2005), sustainable and socially committed. This pedagogical process promotes existential reflection based on the identification of three classes of potential resources: 1.Intra-personal: Attitudes and Attitudes (Vocation, Discipline, Motivation), related to the trajectories of professional life2. Interpersonal: Educational community.3. Institutional: Government and / or non-governmental organizations. The pertinence of this pedagogical process that can take place at any moment of the life cycle tends to be greater during the relevant transitional phenomena of the academic and social trajectories (Methodological Approach: Transitional Orientation).Brunal, Vázquez et al (R 2018 b)
